If there were extenuating circumstances that affected your behavior, tell them these, too, before any judgment is made about whether or not you should keep taking exams for a long time after this incident.
2. Apologize
Apologize as soon as possible after being caught, even if there’s no way of avoiding doing so. The better your apology is received, the better off you’ll be in future relations with other people too – which means more opportunities for success in life!
Apologies are also easier to accept when given in person (i.e., face-to-face) rather than electronically via text or email.
However, if this isn’t possible, then try writing an email or letter explaining your situation and apologize for your actions as best as possible (i.e., not just saying sorry).
3. Give excuses
If you get caught cheating in exams, the best thing to do is give excuses. Give an excuse for why you did it. For example, “I was helping my brother with an exam.” Or “My friend asked me to copy his answers for him.”

4. Ask to Finish the Exam
